Untitled Composite (2020) - A strong motif in museum quality

Untitled Composite (2020) is a unique artwork that follows both the artist's large-scale creations and his subject matter. Drawing on the language of minimalist painting of the 1960s and 1970s, he works primarily with shaped canvases, creating intricate plywood supports on which he stretches canvases and paints them with a signature palette of saturated, sometimes contradictory colors. In their three-dimensionality, his works blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture, image and object.
